Christmas dinner was a great! With #lobster and green beans and a corn crepe with #pumpkin filling. Feeling fancy with Josh Groban playing in the background.
Today in class we were talking about human evolution today and some issues that have envolved in our time. We focused on obesity and how that as become a huge issue in the past couple of year. We were talking about the food pyramid and how things like Diary were lobbied to be on the food pyramid.
My teacher then mentioned that we have constantly been changing the food pyramid and how if you go to this website run by the US government, that you can create one just for your age, sex, and amount of activity (Click the photo to create your own pyramid) . So I decided to check out the site, after i put in my information and got a chart, I saw this at the bottom of the page:
So how much of this do you think is lobbied by the meat industry in the US. I still try and buy local organic meat when i can. And so what if i get some bacteria, maybe my body will learn how to fight them if they are present. And I would personally much rather we spend money on organic meat.
What you do think?
There shall be a blogging website like tumblr, but is 100% dedicated to food. What will this website be called? Yumblr. (I’m Alex Weber and I approve of this message)
