I did a project about metal hospitals in Massachusetts since they had some of the earliest in the US. Being not too far away from one of the hospitals I was looking into, I drove to Worcester to see what was left of Worcester Hospital. When I got there it was raining and I had to shoot it through a chain-link fence since they were building a new metal hospital at the time. 

The only buildings that remained when I took this were the main admin building/entrance which is the focus of this picture. There was also one other circular building. They were going to build the new building into the old admin building, but I haven’t been back since then.

After about 3 years of not being satisfied with this picture, I was able to get a hold of a old film filter that gave me the exact effect that I wanted. So here it is in its edited form.
